The Hand of Bigfoot
Following the discovery of what appeared to be massive handprints in Alaska, field investigators Ronny LeBlanc, Russell Acord, and Mireya Mayor reconvened on the mainland to analyze the evidence. The team documented what they identified as both handprints and possible knuckle prints in the soil, suggesting quadrupedal locomotion—behavior consistent with great apes. The prints appeared to show two distinct sets of tracks moving eastward along a river valley, with handprints measuring at least twice the size of a human hand. This evidence aligned with the team's previous analysis of a reconstructed skull that indicated a creature capable of both bipedal and quadrupedal movement. The discovery represented what the investigators considered a significant lead in their Alaska expedition, particularly given reports of Bigfoot moving on all fours to traverse difficult terrain more quickly.
The team employed 3D scanning technology to document the prints and transmitted the data to data analyst Bryce Johnson for dimensional analysis and ratio measurements. Recognizing the challenge of tracking through Alaska's dense and difficult terrain, the investigators developed a tactical approach to follow the trajectory of the tracks eastward into a natural bowl formation created by the river valley, bounded by steep cliffs on either side. The team theorized this geography could potentially contain the creatures' movement, making detection more feasible. Johnson indicated plans to deploy additional technology to scan the expansive area more efficiently as the expedition continued.
