The investigators travel once more to the state of Kentucky to inspect some recent casts of bigfoot tracks. After a wild night with Ernie the Turtleman, they have a terrifying night of their own using Louisville Sluggers for knockers.

Why Are They Here?

Season 6 opens with field investigator Bryce Soderberg following a promising lead in southern Washington, approximately 500 miles north of where the team last tracked potential sasquatch activity in northern California. A timber scout working in the remote wilderness known as "the Fork" discovered what appeared to be freshly constructed nest structures deep in an area rarely visited by hikers. The witness, whose identity was protected due to professional concerns within the timber industry, guided Bryce to the site approximately one week after the initial discovery. The structures—woven formations of branches with green needles still attached—suggested recent construction. Bryce reported detecting a distinctive odor at the location, and the nest configuration reminded him of similar structures discovered by Dr. Mireya Mayor in northern California months earlier, which the team had associated with a possible sasquatch family group including a juvenile.

Warning Signals

Following reports of significant sasquatch activity in Washington State, the expedition team investigated an area characterized by Russell Acord as a natural "choke point" where multiple individuals may be traveling. After discovering the remains of a recently killed deer, Russell tracked what he believed to be an unidentified predator through the night, eventually following loud banging sounds into a massive timber culvert system. The field researcher noted that the culvert's size made it an ideal passage for large animals to move between areas, and observed fresh disturbance patterns suggesting something had recently jumped into the water below. Russell interpreted the banging sounds as potential warning signals, indicating that whatever he was pursuing was alerting others to the team's presence in the area.

New evidence brings the team back to Alaska, where they decide to divide and conquer. While Matt and Bobo are down in the small village of Bethel, Ranae and Cliff are investigating near Fairbanks.

The Expedition Bigfoot team continued their investigation in Washington state, focusing on a suspected migration route and increasingly active signs near their base camp. Field investigators Mireya and Biko reported an unknown thermal signature positioned above their camp in what appeared to be an observation position, followed by an unidentified howl that didn't match typical coyote vocalizations. Biko had earlier observed upright movement descending a hillside less than 200 yards from their tents, leading to the discovery of what the team identified as a large footprint. Meanwhile, Russell investigated strange clicking sounds captured on parabolic microphones nine miles away, following tracks that suggested something had crossed through the area near a water source.

The team continued their investigation in a remote forested region known as "the Fork," focusing on a natural choke point where previous nest structures had been documented. Working from their base camp, the researchers deployed an array of lidar sensors paired with infrared cameras designed to track moving objects in real time. During nocturnal surveillance, the system detected movement on the outskirts of the detection range, prompting primatologist Mireya Mayor and researcher Biko Wright to investigate on foot. The team also reported hearing unusual howls near base camp that Wright, despite extensive field experience with native wildlife, could not attribute to known animals such as bears, mountain lions, or canids. Six miles away, survivalist Russell Acord pursued a separate thermal signature near a location where team member Bryce had previously documented two possible subjects crossing a road.

The team travels to Idaho to search for Bigfoot. After sending a scout team of researchers ahead of the group, Matt, Cliff, Bobo, and Renae with one researcher into four groups to search the state. They put an elaborate plan in order to search for the state's Gem State squatch.

Element of Surprise

The expedition continues in Washington State, where the team investigates terrain they believe may serve as mating habitat for Sasquatch, contrasting with their Northern California theory that the lost coast functions as birthing grounds. Dr. Mireya Mayor and Biko Wright pursue a thermal signature that moved through their camp days earlier, tracking it to an abandoned logging trestle bridge spanning a river hundreds of feet below. While conducting interviews near the location where Biko observed movement on a hilltop, the team begins hearing unusual vocalizations—a back-and-forth pattern of calls followed by what researchers described as resembling an animal's distress shriek. The sounds originate from across the river, accessible only by the deteriorating bridge structure.

Fascinating evidence convinces the team to go back to New Jersey, and surprisingly squatchy state. After a night investigation and a town hall meeting, Cliff departs from the team to investigate with his friend, comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.

Line of Sight

In Washington's rugged terrain, field investigators Mireya Mayor and Bryce Wright examined a series of anomalous tree structures discovered after tracking a potential subject across a river. The site revealed multiple stripped trees and what appeared to be bark cordage, suggesting deliberate manipulation requiring significant time and dexterity. Most striking was the discovery of patches of white fur snagged on the structures—enough material to warrant genetic analysis. The coloration aligned with accounts from Bryce's acquaintance, who described witnessing a sasquatch with yellowish-white fur resembling a weathered polar bear. The team heads to the United Kingdom to investigate possible sasquatch sightings. Bobo and Cliff head to Scotland where they search for sasquatches near the famed Loch Ness, while Matt and Ranae search for bigfoots in England.

The team continued their investigation in Washington State, focusing on a forested area near a bog where multiple tree structures had been discovered. Primatologist Mireya Mayor, positioned in a water blind with thermal imaging equipment, detected the heat signature of an upright, bipedal figure approximately 50 feet from field investigator Biko Wright's elevated observation post. The thermal contact moved away from the water and uphill before disappearing from view. Earlier in the investigation, team member Bryce Johnson consulted with Jean and Michael of the Hoh Tribe, who described traditional knowledge suggesting that Sasquatch families mark territories using distinct woven structures and symbols—different clans reportedly use unique insignia including fire stick weavings, Y-shaped formations, and carved faces to denote family groups.

Two miles south of a seismic tripwire, Russell documented what the team interpreted as bipedal movement captured on thermal imaging, along with two distinct types of tracks suggesting group behavior. Most significantly, investigators recovered a substantial blood sample and documented a 13-inch handprint, evidence they believed indicated proximity to their subject. The convergence of multiple data points—thermal readings, track evidence, and biological samples—led the team to designate this location as a critical hotspot requiring immediate concentrated effort.
